Have you ever gotten lost in the woods? Like truly no idea where you came or how you are able to get back? Or lost someone else? That panic as you try and find them. Maybe not everyone has but I bet everyone has lost an important item. Say you put your keys down and forget where they are. If you still haven't then lucky you. It's not fun. But what if, one day you are able to see these invisible strings that no one else can. And you can use these strings to keep track of people, places and things. Why not, no one else can see or feel them. You can't get rid of them and they get incredibly tangled at times. But that's not all bad...right? So would you? Would you take that and become special, different, gifted, unique? Because I didn't have a choice and this is the story of how I dealt with my peculiar life.

This is my first story ever! I'm going to have Preferences and maybe Imagines for the characters in "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" by Ransom Riggs! I do not own any of the peculiars, and I'm open to requests! (No smut or anything like that.)

I thought I knew our world better. Such a thought quickly made her feel lied to, or at the very least deceived. Peculiar America, a land without rules, plenty of violence, and gang leaders instead of ymbrynes. How had WWII been easier to navigate? Despite her giving nature Aurora can't help but feel pushed to her breaking point, then guilty for wanting a way out. She should be wanting to help shouldn't she? Instead she finds herself resenting the journey she finds herself on, and fears her life is finally spiraling out of control. And even Millard is at a loss at what to do to help. Soon they both have the same horrible thought: What are the odds they will both survive such dangers twice? Mathematically speaking, not good.

The peculiars finally get to meet Jacob's best friend Ricky Pickering. He makes some quite interesting encounters with them. (That old synopsis I wrote was cringe) Note: This idea was roaming around my head for a while so I decided to finally write down and get it over with. I wrote this partially out of fun and partially because Ransom Riggs did a huge disservice to his characters. This story took quite some time to make, so comments and feedback are welcome. Based on the book, of course. I haven't watched the movie but do plan on it.
