Bella has to come to terms with her love for Jacob while still navigating Edward's hold on her heart. Although Bella is battling with herself, the threat of a vengeful Victoria still looms over Forks. Bella never allowed herself to consider Jacob, not when immortality with Edward stood in the way. She knew her path, not the road less taken. She is cautiously going down a new path, one where the journey might be better than she expected.

So. I took issue with how smeyer treated my boy, as many of us have, and I took it upon myself to re-write the series from Jacob's POV and fix some of the problems I had. This is basically a head canon of how I would write twilight, were I ever given such a job, which I would like to clarify; nobody asked for this.
