However, it is curious to note that the city is divided in the middle by the wide St. Basil's River. To the young and the reckless, the river also separates the two gangs that rule the city - The Nemean Lions and The Nightshade Keepers. They are sworn enemies and are composed of the brats of the rich and the powerful. Their frustrations and anger toward their always absent parents served as fuel as they engage into fights. But what will happen if a Nightshade and a Nemean fall in love with each other?

Mildred Turalba is in love with Caleb Galeria, their campus heartthrob . She is so desperate to make him notice her which lead her to look for Ka Tasyung. Ka Tasyung is a very famous quack doctor and some people told Mildred that he also make love potions. Many people have proven that the love potion is indeed effective. Mildred sneak in to Ka Tasyung's house in the middle of the night. She stole one small volumetric flask covered with a wooden cap and containing the love potion. Later that morning she went to give Caleb a bottle of his favorite energy drink during their break time. Unknowingly, Mildred put all the dosage of love potion into the drink. When Caleb is about to drink, a man wearing a nerd eyeglasses came running beside Caleb and took the energy drink. The man who later on was identified as Caleb's cousin, Alejandro de Dios, drank all the beverage with a love potion mixed in it.
