Entre Perdedores y Fracasados, él y yo éramos ambos. Mi sueño siempre fue ser un detective que lucha por encontrar la verdad. Y, de alguna manera, me convertí en eso. En un intento de encajar en la sociedad que nunca conociste, encerrado en una cárcel sin salida alguna por la gran parte de tu vida, puedes meterte en demasiados problemas que nunca pensaste antes. Por ejemplo: conocer a un tipo sospechoso que te persigue por toda la escuela con el objetivo de golpearte por escuchar conversaciones ajenas; fingir una relación con ese mismo chico por ser un entrometido; conocer amigos que odian a tu novio falso; vivir experiencias inimaginables, y luego... sufrir las consecuencias de subir a lo más alto de la cima, porque, lógicamente, el próximo paso es que te quieran ver caer. Sin embargo, tenerlo a él -sus ojos dorados como el sol, su ingenio, empatía y locura- a mi lado, era suficiente para sentirme inalcanzable e invencible.
