Chikara (力) is the Japanese term to describe "strength, power". This term expresses itself throughout the story as the characters' growth strives. It was not long ago when the child of Amity residents was saved by Dauntless Special Ops Corp leader Sam Quinlin before being murdered. Showing talent at a young age, the leader saw this as a promising candidate to take his place in the future as the new leader of the Dauntless Special Ops Corp. The child was put under gruel training when the child reached the age of six. Due to improvement, the child was able to be the youngest child to ever be accepted into the Choosing Ceremony, being fourteen years of age. Success was brought upon the child, showing through the leader board as being ranked number one in the class. After one year, the child was finally promoted to an Officer position in the Dauntless Special Ops Corp, one of the most highly elite groups in the faction. After five years of work, the child was sent to train a new set of recruits, only for the purpose of hopefully passing on skills, and proving their skills worthy of them taking over the place of Leader in the future.
