Jake was a loner. It's what he was and will always be. He's never had friends before; if you didn't include his siblings or Daisy. His middle school bullies tormented the life out of him. He just wanted high school to end so he could at least try to be a singer, but things would be too good to be true, and he'd fail...just like his bullies told him.
