Deactivation means you're defective in the world of SQUIPs. It's an offense. It means you're useless. A glitch. An embarrassment, if you will. Being deactivated is every SQUIPs worst fear. Why? Because then there's nothing stopping other SQUIPs from doing whatever they want with you. No one cares if a defective SQUIP is ripped apart. No one cares if a defective SQUIP is torn apart, ripped up code by code. No one cares if they're left to malfunction and die. Maybe that explains why Jeremy found his SQUIP on his living room floor, looking more like a pile of scrap metal than a supercomputer. Btw the art's not mine. Never was, never will be. Sure wish it was, though.

Brooke is an up and coming officer who wants to help bring justice into the world again (and be on the same case as that cute investigator.) Squip is a mafia boss who gets his name from a drug with growing popularity and owns the speakeasy a certain brunet finds himself drawn to. Rich is sent to work at his uncle's friend's restaurant after he attempts to kill himself, and learns the man running it isn't all that he seems. (WARNING FOR PERIOD TYPICAL SEXISM AND RACISM, AS WELL AS SUICIDE, HOMICIDE AND GORE) (Temp hiatus)
