I sighed, putting my key into the lock of my apartment front door, struggling to hold the bag of groceries at the same time. My water bottle slipped from my grip, and dropped to the ground with a loud thud. "God," I grumbled to myself, putting the key into the lock, then bending down to pick up my bottle. I situated my items, then tried turning the key, that was now stuck in the door. "Are you kidding me?!" I groaned, frustrated. "Hey," I heard next to me, along with a slamming door. I turned to my left and a man stood next to me, slipping on a raincoat. His brown curls fell down his back effortlessly. His nose looked like it was carved by a Greek sculpture, he was tall, and broad, hovering over my head. "Do you need some help?" he asked, gesturing to the paper bag slowly ripping in my arms. "Oh- I-" I started. He grabbed the bag from me, and smiled. "The doors get stuck sometimes. Pull the door knob toward you, then try," he explained. I did as he said, and magically the lock clicked on the other side. "Thank you-" "Danny," He said, realizing he never shook my hand, and put his hand out for me. I grabbed onto his hand, and his fingers engulfed my whole hand. He had calloused, but soft palms. "Max," I laughed nervously, introducing myself. "It's nice to meet you, Danny," I said. I cracked the door open, and Danny handed my bag of groceries back to me. "Are you new to Nashville?" he asked, making sure I had a good grip on the bag. I nodded. "It's my second week here," I grinned at him. "Oh cool!" he exclaimed. "Where from?" he asked. I leaned against the door frame. "Spokane," I said. "Max!" I heard from inside the apartment. I glanced through the cracked door at Jack adjusting his headphones back on his head. "Well, I hope to see you soon, Max," Danny said, smiling. I turned to the door, and smiled up at him. "Likewise,"
