They didn't have the gentle grace and calm demenor that angels do; they were defiant, ruthless, and far to eager for battle. After the Angels had a scuffle with the fire Lords, whose realm was not as calm as Heaven, Andy and the other four damanded that they fight and "show those candle sticks an angel's true power!" They were promptly cast down to earth. The Elder's conferred with the Lord, and all came to the agreement that they no longer had the purity of heart to belong in Heaven any longer. Stripping them of their powers and practical immortality, the Lord cast them out the gates and struck them to earth, where they could see the horrors of war they so desired. Their wings turned black as they fell and became earth bound, unable to fly again. They crashed in an open field, far outside the city, creating large craters from the impact of speed. As they lay, unconscious and bleeding, the last bit of God-like resistance and healing genes faded from them, leaving them good as human, except for the large black wings that they could bring out at will. You live far off in the country, and are a lover of nature and quiet.
