When we speak of World War II, we always talk about the Jews being persecuted. What we never hear about is the Nazi guards pulled into the war through being drafted, or the German people outside of the camps getting bombed and starved through poverty.
This is the story of Jakob Weiss, a 23-year-old German artist living in the 1940s. Follow his story as he is taken from his wife and newborn son and goes from labor camps to the front lines of battle.
The Journal and Artwork of Jakob Weiss is based off of Letter's to Sala, and any characters taken from there belong to the author. All other characters are fictional or loosely based off of a historical figure.
