Jack's parents are low key homophobic, but they don't argue as much with Jack about his bisexuality as much as they used to. However, now that the holidays have rolled around, they want Jack's (non-existent) girlfriend to join them at their lake house getaway for Christmas. Jack, tired of their passively homophobic bullshit asks Alex to be his fake fiancé, all for a prank. But will this little lie turn into something bigger?

Alex had enough. Enough of everything. So he decided to run away from his broken past in Britain, and on his way to a different country, he accidentaly met his light in the dark. "And...what's even your name?" the boy asked. "Uh-I'm-I'm Alex. Alex Gaskarth." he quietly stuttered and shifted a bit, then carefully looked up at the boy with glossy eyes. "Well I'm Jack, Jack Barakat. And I'm sticking with you whether you like it or not."

Jack Barakat has just moved to a new neighborhood, the same neighborhood as a boy called Alex Gaskarth - who has lived in the same house all his life. Alex is slowly coping with the loss of his best friend - who just so happened to be his brother - and he now no-longer wants to attempt to make friends. Then he meets Jack, and he slowly gets better.

This is my first ever jalex fan fiction so please be gentle... Alex is your normal band geek, while jack is your average football star and bully. But it wasn't always like that, there was a time where they could be said to be best friends. They had the same dream once too, to be a famous rock and roll icon and to just perform for all the weird kids like them. But that dream was soon washed away when jacks Dad forces jack to join the foot ball team and jack soon finds himself in certain circumstances where he has to bully Alex and as years pass by jack starts liking bullying the weaker boy and even goes as far as disregarding their previous friendship. But what happens when Alex starts to actually not care what the other do to him and starts pursuing the dream they both had when they were younger? Warning: There will be Smut on the later chapters.
