At Lincoln High school, Emma Chamberlain is an introvert. She doesn't like people. Hannah and Ellie are slowly backing out of her life and they were her only friends. She's lonely now. The Dolan twins are very well known at school. Everyone drools over them. James, Jefferee, and Nathan are revolved only in their own group. Controversy erupts when all of these different high schoolers' lives interfere

The Dolan family and the Miller family never got along. They were known across the town for hating each other. Alex Miller never really understood why. She wore high black boots, fishnet tights and short skirt,her long dark hair flowing at her hips. Grayson Dolan. Captain of the football team.
