James and Riley have never had the smoothest sailings in the world. To the point that after they made it over their last hurdle, they picked up and moved out of the city. Leaving all of their friends behind They grew the little family they wanted and now after a move back to the city, can James and Riley make it through it all?

This a story about two characters James and Riley. I would recommend only reading this if you watch the show "The Next Step". This is about the relationship between James and Riley in season 4. Relationships have a large concept. Some relationships include living the dream, others are more complicated, some are even toxic, but most are far from perfect. It's been ten years since James and Riley decided to cut their relationship off due to each wanting different things in their lives - Riley wanting to settle down while James wanted to focus on his career path. A lot can happen after spending ten years apart... Things change, people change, but most importantly, relationships change. It isn't long before James and Riley find themselves Crossing Paths once again somewhere down the line - but how will things be seen when they come to the realisation that each has a child of their own...?

James and Riley grew up, their story never ended instead it was passed on to a new generation. During their life together James and Riley ended up having 4 children. 3 boys, Ethan (23) Levi (21)Sam (18) and the baby of the family, their only Daughter. Gracie (16) All of their children took their own paths, Ethan was one for sports and spends his college life skating or playing football, Levi took a head dive into Music just like James, Sam bounces between Music and Sports but his primary love is writing. Then there is Gracie, being the youngest it meant she had everything she could have wanted, she hadn't found her passion, or at least she hadn't shown anyone that she had Gracie was the dancer, but she kept it hidden She didn't want her parents pull to help her get to the one place she's been wanting to go since the stories started as a baby Gracie is about to take a big step out on her own when she decides she going out for A-Troupe without telling her parents

James and Riley have been together for over a year. They've always known of each other through school and growing up together but with James' circle of friends they had never had the opportunity to meet That is until last summer when both of their families ended up on the same holiday They've done a year of school together but did not utter a single word to each other during school hours. It stopped the hassle, the drama that comes from the entire school knowing about a new relationship Their second summer together has come to an end and it is time to go back to school but what happens when one of them starts to want more then just a stolen glance in the corridor
