It was meant to be a mission-a simple one at that. Spend a few months as an American detective, stop a major terrorist plot befalling Britain, pop back home in time for Eastenders. Alas, fate doesn't work like that.

Through a mere stroke of luck, Vesper Lynd survived. She didn't live though, she couldn't, not without James. Her future, past, and life could change at a whim, never solid or true.
