In 1933, Bucky meets a boy named Wiliam Arnez. As the boys become closer and intimate they are thrust into a whirlwind of societal pressure, rampant racism, and what is deemed sane and insane. As the pressure mounts, Bucky and William struggle to hide their relationship. Between flirting with girls, tussling with Steve, and secret rendevous with William, Bucky struggles to come to terms with his heart's aching need for William. Torn between being his authentic self or hiding behind a false facade of "normalcy", Bucky fights to break free from societal pressures, rampant racism, and the false notion of being anything other than heterosexual.
