The year is 1926 in Brooklyn, New York. Gracie, the younger sister of Steve Rogers, and Steve moved to another neighbourhood in Brooklyn. A neighbourhood where Bucky Barnes lives too. The three of them become the best of friends, growing up together going through thick and thin. They go through childhood, puberty and their teens together, experiencing... ...well that is for you to read. I am planning on taking this story far and making it into a series. Probably in the second book they will be young adults. Ava Grace Rogers is my character (and a few minor ones). The other characters are owned by MARVEL as well as the storyline. ~ Loosely Canon~ Two years since Steve went back and Bucky is hardly able to remember the days of the week. Sam tried his hardest, and to his credit, some of Bucky's happiest days have been with him and Sarah. It just isn't the same. Nothing is the same when his best friend is six feet beneath the ground, his coffin coated in a billion particles of soft, brown dirt. Bucky refuses to live without Steve, and so he seeks out the only man who Bucky would trust to turn his life to flames: Helmut Zemo. After putting up with a miserable assassin for the best part of two years, Sam has had enough, and he contacts a familiar group of friends he hasn't spoken to in awhile. They must create a plan to bring Steve back to the present before Bucky is able to locate Zemo. They have two weeks- they fail? They loose their Bucky.

As he sets out to find out who he is he meets a woman. This woman offers to help him with his past, but does she have other motives. As he begins to trust her, other emotions begin to stir and awaken along with painful memories of his past. Can she help heal the broken man he is?

So much has changed in the seventy years that Steve was under, and now, in the 21st century, he realizes that he no longer has to hide those parts of himself that he used to. And when Bucky comes back into his life, he remembers all those feelings that they no longer had to hide. But he isn't sure if that's what Bucky wants - because it's been a while and feelings may have changed.
