When Gally gets left behind by the gladers, a group fighting against WCKD finds him and patches him up. In that group there's a girl, Finley, who's brother was taken by WCKD years ago, she thinks Gally might just be her ticket back to him - or at the very least help her get some revenge. Some bits I made up to fill in the gap between the end of the maze runner and the death cure, but mostly follows the plot of the last movie. Thomas and Newt are accepted to a highly competitive academic course called The Program. Run by WICKED. Thomas feels like he doesn't belong and Newt believes that studying is all that matters. Maybe they need each other to find themselves. I get that this story may not be everyone's cup of tea. I wrote it in two days and I'm new to writing. I like the last section from Thomas' POV the most and would carry that light hearted and fun and romantic tone forward if I was to write more.
