death spells is an american digital hardcore band formed in 2012. the group is composed of former my chemical romance rhythm guitarist frank iero and keyboardist james dewees (also of the get up kids and reggie and the full effect), who were both members of hardcore punk band leathermouth as well.

After the horrible breakup of the band My Chemical Romance, their fans, the Killjoys, were definitely affected negatively, with people wondering if they will ever get back together. Now, in 2018, some of the band's fans are coming up with interesting conspiracy theories about their possible reunion. One of these fans has created a robot run with artificial intelligence, hoping it will devise a plan for the band to come back. The only way to test this creation is by gifting it to Gerard Way, MCR's lead singer. Will the robot help put the band back together?

The new drummer and keyboardist have been great additions to the band, and fans have started to popularize them in the fandom as well.
