The Bat was formed of the night, and the lines between it and the night blurred, to the point that it became all but invisible in the shadows, only able to be seen by the glow of its eyes, or a shadow blotting out the little light of the moon as it flew in the skies, surveying its territory. The Bat was eldritch, a myth, a tale told to children to frighten them into behaving. 'Be good, and the Batman won't snatch you away to join its brood'. By day, a ditzy socialite, CEO of Wayne Industries, by night, a vengeful shadow in the dark, punishing criminals and doling out justice, the Bat was real.

Nell Nygma is Edward Nygma's older sister, she went to high school with James Gordon and use to be in a serious relationship with James, until he went of to the army, and she went to college to become a Homicide Detective for GCPD. Now that Gordon has became a homicide detective as well, things will get interesting.

He shouldn't have noticed the girl with the lilac colored hair, but he did. Victor should have stayed in that night. He didn't need the money from the mission, but it was a job-and he loved his job. It was supposed to be quick and easy, in and out but it wasn't. Novella had a job, everyone does in Gotham some more legal than others. She had one of the most boring jobs in the whole city, an intern at the GCPD. She shouldn't have left the room when she heard gunshots, but she did. (SEASON 1 of GOTHAM) Edward Nygma finds the newest hire, James Gordon, to be incredibly interesting. So does Oswald Cobblepot. After overcoming death and returning to Gotham, however, the two cross paths, and Nygma's curiosity leads to a blossoming relationship... or something like that. Shenanigans, polyamory, and weird LGBTQ+ moments ensue.
