In Gotham, there was a rumor. A rumor, saying that the Bat was the coalescence of their sins, come to punish them (they said that, due to the Batman being formed of their sins, it could not kill them, lest it be weakened). The Bat was formed of the night, and the lines between it and the night blurred, to the point that it became all but invisible in the shadows, only able to be seen by the glow of its eyes, or a shadow blotting out the little light of the moon as it flew in the skies, surveying its territory. The Bat was eldritch, a myth, a tale told to children to frighten them into behaving. 'Be good, and the Batman won't snatch you away to join its brood'. By day, a ditzy socialite, CEO of Wayne Industries, by night, a vengeful shadow in the dark, punishing criminals and doling out justice, the Bat was real.

This is my first imagine so we are hoping its good. This really just focuses on gotham after the 5th season. Mainly you'll see interactions with Jonathan Crane, Jeremiah Valeska, and Bruce Wayne (clearly them x reader, is there any other kind of imagine out there?). These arent one shots and I'll consider taking suggestions. Oh yeah and no smuts! This is going to be a pretty clean story with the exception of a cuss word from time to time. Also, if it wasnt clear, I dont own any of these characters all rights to them go to the actual show Gotham.

You were an average girl. Who lived a pretty average life. Besides the fact that your parents were filthy rich. You've always been kept away from the public fearing something dangerous may happen to you due to your parents. I mean, it is Gotham. When Bruce Wayne's parents died, your family moved away in fear that they would be next. That was around 6 years ago. Your parents decided to move back to Gotham after they heard crime rates started to decrease due to mayor cobblepot. When moving back, your parents decided to pay a visit to Wayne manor, not knowing what that would get you into.

Let me start by saying... I did not see this coming. How could I have been so foolish to not see the signs, the signs that were so clearly laid out in front of me. I suppose it doesn't matter anymore, I'll be dead soon. If you think this is a romance novel with a happy ending... you clearly haven't been paying attention.
