Lieutenant James Norrington passed up and down the corridor waiting for his house mate. "why does he take so long! It doesn't take that long to put a coat on." James waited by the door for a further few minuets until his patience ran out he signalled for their maid Maria. She wore a red dress with a white apron with a neat bow at the back. James was agitated, you could tell by the tone in his voice.

James Norrington found the baby in a wrecked pirate ship and took her home. She became his pride and joy, even though she had a bit of a rebellious streak and a massive love for the sea. But when Jack Sparrow shows up at Port Royal again, things get complicated and James's little girl is dragged into the world of pirates and bloody battles. Can James save his little girl? Will she ever find out who her real father is? Only time will tell...

I was not happy with the outcome of the events in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. So this is how I would have liked things to go down... with my own little twist. *wink* Most of the story will take place in first person, from James' point of view. There will be parts where it is from someone else's perspective though. I'll make sure to point it out when it happens. This rendition starts off when Elizabeth Swann meets Admiral James Norrington for the first time in the movie, right before James died.

James gets a chance to relive some parts of his life after he dies. This lets us see how things might have turned out otherwise. He's given a sort of second chance, but in a way where he gets multiple attempts to fix things. Perhaps life could have turned out well for him, or perhaps death wasn't the cruelest fate.

Elizabeth Turner misses her husband dearly, so she goes back to where it all began, in Port Royal after her son, Henry leaves to join the navy. James Norrington, who somehow survived, is still the Commodore of Port Royal. When Henry washes up on the shore of Port Royal after his encounter with the vile Salazar, Elizabeth realizes they have one more adventure left.
