Her relationship with her boyfriend weakens, her status with her best friend becomes a slippery slope, and the life she once became accustomed with proves to be more akin to a facade. He had thought the past was behind him, but a sudden trip to visit his grandparents leads to a cascade of events that challenge that notion while tugging at his heart as memories from his adolescence come alive once more.
