When James Madison first met James Reynolds, he thought he was really sweet. The two hit it off, and eventually started dating. Then they met James Hamilton, and the relationship eventually turned into the three. James didn't mind. He had two loving boyfriends, what could go wrong? Turns out, everything. Jamie (James R.) and Jay (James H.) started to drink. Work became harder and Jay lost his job and started to gamble, putting them further into debt. James tries to do all he can, but it never seems to be enough. One day, Jamie hits him. James is hurt and upset, but Jamie apologizes and promises it won't happen again. But it does. Eventually, Jay joins in, and James is confined to the house, unable to leave under Jamie and Jay's watchful eyes. He wants nothing more than to leave, but he believes that it is impossible and that he is forever trapped as Jamie and Jay's toy. And then one Mr. Thomas Jefferson walks into his life.
