Since he was 8 he had always been fond of animals, reptiles in particular. So he studied to become a herpetologist while working at a nearby zoo part time. That's how he met Mikaela, the love of his life. She worked at the zoo and was a devoloping ornithologist, or someone who studies birds. But what do biologists do when the animals that they study finally decide, no more? Authors Note I own no characters other than Austin and Mikaela (and a few side characters), all the main characters belong to the producers of Zoo.
