A poem about Corona Virus of 2020

WHOA! is loosely based on the life of Jamilah Renae during a specific time in her life and career when writing and performing became more of a chore than something she loved to do. During this time she met a man, fell in love and soon realized that it might have been better to remain single or at least her version of being single. There are many twists and turns but the details of the story will make you cheer for her and hope that she finds her way back to who she is in her heart.

Life is funny. Not ha-ha funny-more like a kick-you-when-you're-down, call-it-fate kind of funny. These are my ironic observations, sarcastic notes, and poetic truths about living in a world that never makes sense.
