In a society where reputation is carefully guarded and marriages are often decided long before hearts have a say, Lady Amelia Wiscoming has reached the age where one expectation overshadows all others: she must find a suitable husband. The very thought terrifies her. Choosing incorrectly could bind her to a life she never wanted and yet hesitation is not a luxury that society allows young ladies. Moreover, Amelia possesses a trait that makes her both admirable and troublesome in equal measure: an unshakable honesty. While her sincerity often wins admiration, it also has an unfortunate tendency to expose truths that polite society would much rather leave unsaid. Amid glittering ballrooms and quiet gardens, Amelia encounters men whose lives are ruled by pride, duty, and expectation. A Duke whose arrogance commands every room he enters, and a Prince burdened by the immense weight of the crown he is destined to wear. Both believe they understand the rules of the world they inhabit until Amelia begins to challenge them. What begins as an unexpected friendship soon grows into something far more complicated, as her sincerity unsettles the carefully ordered lives of the men around her. Yet while she may unknowingly reshape their worlds, Amelia herself is still searching for love, for freedom, and for the courage to decide the future that truly belongs to her. Because in a world where marriages are arranged and appearances are everything, one question remains: Will Amelia discover who she truly is before the vows are spoken?

I will admit, my dear readers, that this is a story you have read before. But in many ways, a story I know, you will not see coming. A simple tale of love and loss, pride and vanity. Although, with a twist. A twist that came in the form of a tall gentleman on a light autumn morning in London, 1804. A new type of vampire changes the game as noble society is now nocturnal. It is now proper for women of age to court a vampiric noble and rise to the ranks of the ageless, all while avoiding the travelers (Crazy vampires) who hunt in their midst. Not all is what it seems my dear readers and not all......will make it out......................................ALIVE. *Their is a narrator to the book that will be revealed in the last chapter. If someone can guess before then, I will give them a sneak peak into my next novel, (hint its not going to be accessible to the public) Happy hunting and read like you mean it. You never know what you might find* *Implied violence- Pg-13 - but nothing overly graphic and should be fine for all ages- If anyone thinks otherwise please tell me!!!!*

Sanditon was Jane Austen's final work. It was left unfinished. Is it cursed to remain that way? This is the story of how one book, in the midst of unprecedented times, brought together people from across the globe. United by one goal: Save Sanditon. #savesanditon Although based around real events and experiences, the following - including names, brands, companies etc - are all purely a work of fiction.

A ship's captain, a crime, a secret. An unwanted daughter of an earl who suddenly discovers that she has inherited her own earldom..through her mother. And in order to protect her inheritance, the countess needs a child. And the captain needs protection. It sounds like a fair exchange, a workable solution for two people in trouble. But...there was that portrait. That damned portrait. (ON DECEMBER 31, 2018 THE PORTRAIT WILL DISAPPEAR FROM WATTPAD! However, I send out chunks of whatever I'm working on and updates on sales if you sign up for my mailing list: https://www.cassandraausten.com/wattpadreaders . Thank you so much for reading!)

First book of the Acklams "A love hidden in memories..." Henry Acklam had long ago abandoned any thoughts of love. There were duties to fulfill-responsibilities to his family-and no room for weakness, no one with whom he could share his deepest feelings. At least, that was what he told himself. Yet, there was Noah, his best friend, whose heart ached for a loving marriage, someone to build a future with. Henry, ever loyal, would help him find the perfect wife, sacrificing his own discomfort to attend balls and events that never truly interested him. Anna Keighley, on the other hand, was in her fourth season, and the search for a husband wasn't a priority for her. Yet, unlike Henry, she did not shy away from the idea of love. Her open heart made Henry question his own convictions. She was the perfect match for Noah-beautiful, graceful, and kind-someone who could light up any room. Still, in the quiet depths of Henry's soul, something lingered, something he couldn't ignore. Love, he had come to believe, resided not in grand gestures, but in the unspoken glances shared between two people. When Anna Keighley looked at him, there was a spark, a quiet intensity, that spoke of a bond neither of them could deny.

There's this moment in the 2005 movie adaptation which makes me laugh because Mr. Darcy is so cold and aloof... and that's the moment where Elizabeth asks, "Do you dance, Mr. Darcy?" Presumably just making an effort to be friendly. And he says, "Not if I can help it." in a very matter-of-fact way. What makes it even funnier is that later, at the Netherfield Ball, he asks her to dance, and she is surprised and agrees despite the fact that she doesn't like him. The "Do you dance" scene directly precedes (in the movie) the scene where Darcy tells Bingley that Elizabeth is tolerable but not handsome enough to tempt him... so that is the moment which ingrains in the mind of the town that Mr. Darcy is a proud, disagreeable man. But, I wonder how it would have gone if he answered differently to her question...
