A lighthearted, modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice. Imagine Pride and Prejudice meets doctors, British aristocrats, and Janeites. Mix in whisky and an F1 supercar, and you've got one campy tale. It has its own distinctive spin on familiar characters and settings, but at heart, this is an homage to the original and timeless classic. Inspired by Bridget Jones's Diary and Austenland.

'The more I know of the world, the more am I convinced that I shall never see a man whom I can really love. I require so much!' Marianne Dashwood wears her heart on her sleeve, and when she falls in love with the dashing but unsuitable John Willoughby she ignores her sister Elinor's warning that her impulsive behaviour leaves her open to gossip and innuendo. Meanwhile Elinor, always sensitive to social convention, is struggling to conceal her own romantic disappointment, even from those closest to her. Through their parallel experience of love-and its threatened loss-the sisters learn that sense must mix with sensibility if they are to find personal happiness in a society where status and money govern the rules of love.

At 22, Mary Bennet is the last unmarried Bennet sister, content with her quiet life at Longbourn. While her meddlesome mother laments her lack of beauty and charm, Mary finds solace in her music, her piano becoming her closest confidant. When a mysterious traveller arrives at Longbourn seeking shelter, the Bennets welcome him in exchange for much-needed payment. Introducing himself as Mr. Alexander Rayne, the guest seems nothing more than a gentleman passing through-until he hears Mary play. Struck by her raw talent, Alexander offers to train her, claiming his interest in men makes him no threat to her virtue. But Alexander is no ordinary gentleman. He is, in truth, the Duke of Ravensworth, working undercover to root out a dangerous French spy hiding in the quiet countryside. As Alexander grows closer to Mary, her sharp mind and keen observation become an unexpected asset in his investigation. However, as secrets unravel and danger creeps closer, Mary must decide whether to remain the wallflower the world sees-or step boldly into the light to help Alexander in his mission.

The story's heroine, seventeen year old Catherine Morland, is invited by her neighbours, the Allens, to accompany them to visit Bath for a number of weeks. While, initially, the excitement of experiencing such a place was dampened by her lack of other acquaintances, she is soon introduced to an intriguing young gentleman named Henry Tilney, though her attention was quickly taken upon meeting a young lady named Isabella Thorpe. Isabella tries to make a match between Catherine and her brother John. John Thorpe continually tries to sabotage her relationship with the Tilneys, which leads to many misunderstandings.

Sanditon shocked everyone with the ending, and many writers write their own version to continue this story. I'm not a writer, I'm just so impressed by this story, that I decided to write my own version of the sequel. The story immediately begins from the moment Charlotte left, and for the beginning I tried to imagine how Eliza's relationship with Sidney and all his families, including Georgiana, would develop, and what exactly would be the impetus for Sidney to decide to change the situation. Maybe it turned out more romantic, than I expected, but it seems to me, that in the last episode, we saw such powerful emotions and feelings in Sidney , that it gives me reason to think, that he would be ready to turn the whole world for Charlotte's sake, which I tried to show in my story. I added some of my illustrations, I hope you will like them

[A Wattpad FEATURED story!] She's been King Thranduil's close friend for a long time. But when a shocking rumor about his past comes to light, it shakes her entire world. How well does she really know him? With the threat of war and an uncertain future for the Woodland Realm, her comfortable life is changing forever, and so are her feelings for her friend. A story about second chances with eventual romance. Set during the events of the Lord of the Rings. Thranduil/OC Disclaimer: Everything belongs to Tolkien except for my characters. A/N: It was before Christmas 2014 when I first watched BBC's Emma with Romola Garai (wonderful, by the way - watch it if you haven't). A few days later I went to see The Hobbit BOTFA on its opening night. It was during a car trip from a family Christmas party when I came up with idea for this story. And while it doesn't follow the Jane Austen classic completely (Thranduil is no Mr. Knightley!), it was certainly inspired by it. I enjoyed the challenge. Check out the FB page for the story: facebook.com/StarsofVardafanpage/ (thanks to @MaggieShivers for creating it and running it!)
