_Zentaxx_
Kao Supassrathip came to the province to escape the noise, the heartbreak, and the life that no longer felt like hers. With her expensive car cutting through winding roads and open landscapes, she thought she could outrun the past, even if just for a while.
But fate had other plans.
On a quiet afternoon, as the mountains stretched endlessly before her, a woman suddenly appeared in the middle of the road.
The screech of tires shattered the stillness. Dust rose. Her heart slammed against her ribs.
"What the hell!"
Shaken and furious, Kao stepped out of the car, anger masking the fear that came seconds too late. She expected explanations. Anything.
Instead, she found silence.
"Hey!" she called out, striding toward the girl. "Do you actually want to die?!"
Her voice echoed slightly in the stillness of the empty road.
"Don't you know how to look before crossing? I nearly hit you!" she snapped, the adrenaline still rushing through her veins.
The girl stood in the middle of the road. Too still.
She doesn't look like a beggar or homeless. She's just quiet.
"Speak! Don't you have a tongue?" Kao demanded.
The girl's lips parted slightly, like she wanted to say something but no sound came out.
Her hands trembled faintly at her sides.
For a brief moment, something shifted inside Kao.
But before she could say anything else the girl suddenly turned.
And ran.
Leaving Kao with nothing but confusion and a strange, lingering feeling she couldn't explain.
That moment should have been nothing. Just an accident narrowly avoided.
But in a place where silence carries weight and hearts are forced to confront what they've buried, that single encounter becomes the beginning of something neither of them expected.
Because sometimes, the people who change us the most...are the ones who never say a word.
