Although he would still find clues on finding his homeland, he continues to stay with the strawhats and shows to the world his prowess.

I lived most of my life in the Dark Kingdom, the corner of the mindscape where the unwanted ones go. Everybody hated everybody, and that's just how it was. But there were a select few that hated me the most. I never thought I would soon consider one of those people an ally. Maybe even more. And I never knew there were lines that absolutely cannot be crossed. If they are, the consequences can rip you to shreds. So I didn't slow down when I got close to the line. Didn't slow down when I watched him take piece after piece of me. And utterly destroy me.
