In the soon future, a global catastrophe plagues the earth forcing every human to take shelter in one building. The building that saves the entire human race is remarkable in size, elegant in design, unimaginable in technology. The building tower over the earth with 1 billion floors kissing the moon. The global catastrophe that caused the making of the World Building was the first alien war, a war that the humans barely won. This victory was bittersweet some would say. This caused a global reset, in turn creating a global government with the idea being, protect the earth from any outside threat. However, small seeds of corruption and manipulation were planted in the government, and the collapse of the new world may not be due to outside intervention.

Hey guys! So, I'm deciding to post my historical fiction that I wrote for my English class on here. I feel as if I did a pretty good job in writing this but I just want your opinion. Please comment below to tell me what you think. Also, here is a brief summary of the event that I chose for my historical fiction: It takes place during World War II and it is right after the Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor. The Americans start to mistrust the Japanese-Americans and revoke their privileges. In the end, things become so bad for the Japanese-Americans that they are send to internment camps. My story is told from one such Japanese-American who faces this predicament. She also has to deal with her arguing parents. Also, this is written by V who is @TheDamBlueCookie. Don't worry, @airbarnabus and I will write a story together at some point.

[#TKBMovieContest Top 10 Featured] When 18-year-old Japanese-American student Toni Tanaka (the coolest, most mysterious guy in school) asks 17-year-old Audrey Miller (a quiet bookworm who's barely exchanged two words with a boy) for help with his exam, her heart drops into her stomach and her palms become sweaty. When he says "help," he means "cheat." After caving and giving him the answers to the exam to keep his mother from sending him back to Japan for failing yet another test, Toni becomes rather hard to get rid of; he's taken a liking to Audrey, and he can't quite put his finger on what makes her so unique.

In the misty mountains of Boone, North Carolina, where neon diners hum alongside ancient shrines, 19-year-old Aaron Katsuo clings to his late father's rusted 1967 Shelby GT500-a beast of steel haunted by memories of war, J-rock mixtapes, and unspoken goodbyes. Struggling through grief and a gap year of isolation, Aaron clashes with brash sophomore Yumeko Majima, whose own hidden scars from her brother's suicide fuel a passion for dragon-etched designs. As they restore the car amid wildflower fields and Blue Ridge drives, a chosen family emerges from the auto shop shadows: a guilt-ridden mother, a gruff veteran mentor, and friends chasing melodies and legacies. But can Aaron rev past his father's ghost to forge his own path, or will the weight of loss stall them all? Steel & Petals is a heartfelt coming-of-age tale of healing, identity, and the roads that bind us-where Southern soul meets Japanese spirit in a symphony of engines and echoes.
