An anthology of original classic Japanese stories with my own imagination based on the literature, folklore and mythology. Contains 15 supernatural short stories and involves various ghosts, love, strange, myth and legendary stories which set in three different periods: Heian period, Muromachi period, and Edo period in Japan.

Hanahaki disease. The illness where flowers grown in the lungs of a person who is in love with someone who does not return their feelings. Their body's response is to cough up the flowers, but unless they are cured, the flowers will overtake their lungs and they will be unable to breathe, therefore will die. There are only two cures for the disease. One is that the person you are in love with develops romantic feelings for you. The other is surgery to remove the flowers from one's lungs, but that will result in deleting all emotions and memories of the person that caused the flowers to grow.

Yōkai and Humans. Spirits and Demons. Ghosts and creatures of old. They all exist, under many different names. They live in solitude, and sometimes small groups, only interacting with humans when they have to, or when they need to feed. They are more frightened of us than them, after all. Yet there is a phenomenon among all yōkai. The ability to attach themselves to a single mortal soul that they resonate with. Because if you don't give someone the love and compassion they deserve, a yōkai will do it for you.
