~Book Two in The Gods of the Universe Series~ ~~~~~~~~~~ What exactly are you supposed to do when no one in the universe will love you? Ruby Starr has always seen her twin brother Onyx's aura. She's always known he would be one of the next Goddess Husbands, and with that title came various goddesses filtering though looking for nothing but power. For the past two years, Ruby has been sorting through the goddesses for Onyx, letting him know which ones had the purest intentions by looking at their auras. All she wants to do is keep her brother safe, providing a wondrous distraction from the lack of love the world seems to hold for her. Ruby and her brother have only trusted each other for their entire lives. But when a suspicious goddess with an ominous aura shows up to "woo" Onyx, he suddenly won't listen to her warnings, especially when a mysterious god starts following her around. He insists he's there to protect Ruby, but he won't reveal much more about his past or what he seems to know about hers. Suddenly, Ruby can't trust anyone, but when Onyx start disappearing for days at a time and won't tell her where he's going, she has no choice but to turn to the mysterious god for help. She can't trust him with much, though, not when his aura twists and turns before her eyes in a way she's never seen. For once, all Ruby wants is a trustworthy person to pass her psychic test. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ All photo credit goes to the photographers sending their pictures to Backgrounds HD (Wallpapers) at OGQ and the creators at Backgrounds HD Wallpapers at Stylem Media.
