Evan paused for a moment before speaking quickly, "Jared was part of the friendship too!" I stepped back, "You mean... Jared?" I squint at him, my brain going three times as fast as it usually does. Sure, I knew Jared and Evan were family-friends, but I have not once seen them hang out. Were they a secret, too? Surely not, everyone knows they're basically brothers!
