My favorite movie has always been Labyrinth, and I have always wished there was more to it. At first I wished it would be remade, maybe starring Kim Taehyung, because I feel like if anyone could carry on Bowie's legacy it would be him. However, as time went on, I realized that I didn't want it remade. I wanted another story. So this is my fan fiction rendition of what I think could have happened after Sarah returned home.

Ten years had passed since Sarah saw Jareth. Apparently, he was a bit more into instant marriage rather than into dates and courtship mortals do. His way however meets an excellent match: Sarah's father. He'll be a magnificent example that can influence the old--err--wise and powerful Goblin King.

The Great Goblin King, Jareth, chooses to join his beloved Sarah in The Summerlands for eternity. On the occasion of the passing of David Bowie. Written Jan. 11 2016.

Eight years since her run, Sarah has long since convinced herself that the Labyrinth and all those inside it was a dream. She hasn't seen hide nor hair of a goblin since that awful night, and doubts she ever will again. Content rating for now is pg-13, but may change with the story. I will preface each chapter with a trigger warning for the usual (blood, gore, sexual themes, etc). This is also being posted and updated on my ao3, under the username Giohanna. This story was inspired by art made by Monarobot on Tumblr. ~~~ After Sarah had defeated Jareth, unbeknownst that she will leave him cursed, the handsome and irresistible Goblin King was left with hideous features upon his being. Horns. Wilder teeth. Scaly skin and very bony structures. Jareth was forever stuck in his true, hidden form. In order to reverse the curse, he must find his lost queen, the one who bested him. Sarah is the only one who can cure him, but she must accept the fact that she will become Goblin Queen. Will she accept her fate? He had no power over her. Fifteen year old Sarah fought her way to the Goblin King's castle and won her baby brother back, stealing the wretched king's heart in return. She's twenty-five now, and the haunting walls of the Labyrinth are back, visiting her in unwanted dreams. She couldn't stand to think of him, but she was all he could think about.

However, on her 20th birthday Sarah's memories are restored as the goblin king appears before her, informing her not only is it her birthday, but their faded wedding day.
