A sealed ancient chamber holds a figure frozen in volcanic ash, its desperate form preserved for millennia. But the ash remembers, and what was trapped is awake once more.

I've always regarded dreams to be fascinating and out of reach. All my life, I envied (and still do) the people who are living their dreams and who seem to be knowing what they want. But I definitely knew that I didn't strive for my best in everything I love to do. This short story reflects my love for dreams and how I now want to detach from the "idea" of yearning for it.
