After the initial meeting and the party held at Dr. Tan's mansion, Lima and Rasa decide to separate the dancers into crews- an announcement that rocks Dance Central to its very core. The loveable cast of characters return to this installment of the series-along with a couple of new faces. Ranging from the characters' interpersonal relationships, to how the crews were formed and how they got their outfits, you'll surely enjoy this refreshing sequel. Meanwhile, a new crew threatens the safety of DCI, and Oblio suspects his father is up to something. Will Dance Central avoid potential danger by compromising with these 'rookies', and is Oblio right about his father? Or are they merely the result of lingering trust issues and dubious claims?

because he requested it. you're welcome jake. Jake fell in love with Taryn as soon as he laid eyes on him. His blonde hair, blue eyes, pale skin... he was perfect. He always wanted to ask him out, but never had the confidence to. He didn't think he was good enough. Taryn loved Jake, plain and simple. His brown hair, blue eyes, and terrific sense of humor sent him higher than the moon. He tried hinting at Jake that he liked him, but in Taryn's eyes, Jake would never like him. He's too good for him. I have no regrets.

Vengeance. The nine-lettered word that appeals to the broken, the evil, the wronged and the power-hungry. The Glitterati Twins want vengeance for once-upon-a-time being backlashed and riducled at by the entire city-including DCI. Conveniently, Dr. Tan also wants revenge: Dance Central and his son were stolen from his fingertips, doomed to endlessly roam the Time-Stream. When Jaryn and Kerith break-in to DCI Headquarters and send Boomie to where they believe Dr. Tan is located, Dr. Tan is able to return to the present-era. But help comes for a price... and that means both Dr. Tan and the Glitterati Twins are subject to each other's terms. Dr. Tan wants to renovate DCI Headquarters into a bar, and keep a tight rein on the dancers, while the Glitterati wants to abolish any other dance crew. Motivated by the share of a common enemy, Dr. Tan works on a program he affectionately calls Spotlight- designed to obliterate Dance Central forever.

Julia is severally wounded. She shouldn't be alive. When she wakes up in a hospital several cities away from San D'Angelo, she is dazed, confused, and broken- both physically and emotionally. Spotlight Aubrey, the one who accompanied Julia to the ICU, attempted to comfort her, but Julia is gone. Too much pain, too much hurt, too much mistrust. The other dancers believe she died while completing the mission. Believed she is not needed by anyone after a long recovery, she runs away to continue the solitary life she once led. But something is drawing Julia back to the city once again...whether or not she listens.

Fourteen-year-old Julia was left at the corner of a street by her parents five years ago, left to fend for herself. Time changed, hardened, and molded her into a person she grew to loathe. She carried the burdens of Dance Central all those years, and unknowingly fueling Dr. Tan's anger. Leaving Glitch out of safety concerns and the fear of her life, she disappeared into the unknown. Now, determined to mend loose ends, Julia wants set things straight- ease the tension between Dance Central and Dr. Tan, and find her best friend. But things have changed as well- not just her. Things and people in the city are not how she remembers them. Will Julia adapt to the different environment, or does she risk being abandoned again, this time by society?

Life for Julia hasn't always been easy, but it's about to become much more difficult. Surrounded by rumors, secrets, and lies, she'll have to decide which ones she believes, and which ones she doesn't. Jaryn and Julia's strained relationship grows worse each day, and she knows it won't be long before Jaryn kicks her out... so why does she stay? Well, it's much better than the streets, and at least she's not starving. One day, scavenging the Glitterati Tower's 'basement', Julia finds a shocking discovery- Jaryn's private diary from long ago. Reading it, she thinks she knows why Jaryn turned out the way she did, and the secret truth behind her and Kerith's 'close' relationship. Meanwhile, DCI is certain that the Glitterati are up to something, and Julia knows one day she'll have to choose sides... sooner or later.

Dr. Tan plans on conquering Dance Central and adding it to his successful dance company, Tan Industries. Before he does, however, he'll have to deal with opposition from DCI themselves- they're not going down without a fight. As both sides stand their ground, Lima and Rasa send their agents back in time in order to stop Tan from eradicating freestyle from dance forever by learning the moves and dance crazes of the past decades. This book branches from the original plot of the third game in the prized franchise and fills in any missing plot holes present. In it, the story additionally explains what happens after the infamous villain loses the battle he fought so hard for.

Forced to choose between Dance Central and the Glitterati, Julia chooses Dance Central and becomes a DCI Agent. Warned by both Lima and Rasa, it's become evident to her that she can't share any of what she does with Jaryn and Kerith. Secrets can't stay secrets, however, and it isn't until a close friend betrays Julia that the Glitterati discover her extracurricular activities. Disowned by the both of them, and with Glitch choosing his girlfriend over her for friendship she struggles to stay sane. Then, on top of all the madness, Emilia offers Julia the chance a lifetime-joining Riptide Crew. Julia has always felt close to Emilia, and now she's beginning to question if she's really in the right place in life. But when duty calls to stop an evil, secret dance organization, Julia accepts...no matter the consequences.

Summary: After defeating Dr. Tan and the spread of the news about what happened to the famous dance crews, people have started acknowledging the importance of dancing. Jaryn, from the Glitterati, is forced by her parents to attend college at Dance Central University in Los Angeles. What she hates the most is that Kerith isn't coming along. Although, she's not the only one from Central City that gets to go to DCU. Emilia, Aubrey, Dare and Taye receive a sure scholarship from the said prestige school. They agree to not put the scholarship to waste, accepting the offer of the scholarship in different ways. Does this mean Riptide, Lu$h, Flash4wrd and D-Coy are going to be disbanded for quite a long while? Will their college life be very... eventful? Full of adventures, drama, romance and dances?
