This story is based upon the fictional relationship of Darwin's Cardiothoracic Clinical lead, Jac Naylor and CT2, Zosia March.

Holby City Hospital's Darwin Ward of Cardiothorasic surgery is leading the way in the medical world, and being some of the most wanted surgeons makes life more than a little stressful. Mo, Ollie, Zosia and Matteo are pushed to new limits, as the old ones are broken, and their leader's icy facade is melting, revealing a vulnerable side. Relationships are tested, and patients cause mayhem on the ward. The hospital roof becomes refuge and gallons of coffee are digested. Are the Darwin team strong enough, or will they crack under pressure?

Jac and Zosia had been dating for two years after finally confessing their love for each other, Jac knew she couldn't live without Zosia in her life and decided it was time they tied the knot so soon she gets down on one knee and proposed to Zosia.
