after the war Percy and Annabeth break up, and percy is left to pick up the pieces. he and Annabeth no longer talk, and nearly completely cut themselves out of the others life. percy talks about his troubles one night with Jason. romance buds between jaosnn and percy, but each struggles to move on after the war. percy struggles with his past with annabeth and his time in tartarus while Jason struggles to find his place in camp half blood as well as his old home camp Jupiter.

Jason can't decide whether to stay at camp half blood or go back to camp Jupiter. Leo makes a huge discovery! Frank and Hazel are nervous because Jupiter (Zeus) has chosen them to go on a 'special' quest. And lastly (but not least) Piper finds out her dad is going to get remarried and move to Ohio.
