Instead, her brain blurted something far more intelligent and sophisticated: "Your helmet is crooked." He blinked and tilted his head and readjusted his plumed helmet. Then something twitched at the corner of his mouth. "Your ankle's crooked," he said, and his tone was almost sassy. He directed his head at the tunnel door.
