Tim Drake is starting his first year at Gotham academy as a 7th grader. He's 10 years old, and excited to finally stay in Gotham all year long rather than 4-ish months out of the year. He's excited to not have to go to boarding school and be able to follow the Bats almost every night. None of these changes when he finds a radio in a box of electronical goodies. But Tim does have a brilliant idea to help the people of Gotham without putting himself in a questionable amount of danger. Tim could start a radio reports station. He could compile information and thrice weekly report on it like a podcast. Gothamites could tune in to listen to his informational reports, it would be great and he could help people. Things complicate when he discovers a trafficking ring in the Narrows being run by Black Mask. He obviously reports on it and investigates to learn more information. But he has to do so while slowly getting on the radar of Black Mask, other criminals, and the Bats. And Jason Todd at school trying to befriend the tiny 10-year-old 7th grader and decides to start driving him to and from school every day. Batman and Robin come across a rare night in Gotham City while out on patrol. Things have quieted down and no conflict has stirred the streets as they wrap up patrol and head back to the manor. On their way back, Jason decided to be a little brat by teasing and challenging his dad to a harmless race. The guy is always so serious! He is also a rude old man who would be overly competitive against a child. ________________________________________________________________________________ Perhaps they come off a bit OOC, but after what I've seen of the latest Gotham War going around.. How can I not? (╥﹏╥) I do no good against angst! I need my batfamily and stat! This is also kind of my reintroduction to writing as it has been years since I've done anything :P I forgot my old details so I am starting new and testing out the waters. Also I know Batman was born in like the 1910s (created in the 30s) or something, but for the sake of the story it is with present times, he is born later and Jason is like 13 here, he is just bullying his dad.
