After Steven had left beach city and little home world was now being ran by the crystal gems it seemed as though everyone in beach city had moved on with life and finally found their purpose. All but one lonely gem who was now deep in the woods with no purpose and just confusion, her diamond was gone, there were no more wars to fight,... so what was the point of it all. Until a certain human moves to beach city to Showing jasper a whole new meaning of life and reason to live for. A/N- Hey so this is my first story I hope you guys like it I'm such a huge fan of steven universe and every single jasper fanfic I read that's actually good never finishes, so I wanted to write one that has long chapters, and that you guys would actually like if you have any ideas feel free to voice them. One of the main reasons I have for writing this story was because I felt that after the show ended jasper never really got her redemption and I feel she was just left behind while everyone had adjusted to this new life in beach city because the last time we see her is when she says god bye to steven for good and we never knew what happened to her after that I feel like someone should have been there to show her that and that's where you come in :). ps: I'm not the best at grammar but that's why I had my editor look it over lol, enjoy the book!! **I do not own steven universe or any of the characters except the ones that are not in the show**

After failing to protect Emerald's fastest ship, the Sun Incinerator, Citrine is assigned a new job. To find Jasper and bring her back to the Diamonds to be shatter for failing her own mission. But Citrine is quick to realize the job is a lot harder than it sounded. Will Citrine be able to bring her back and save her own life or give into her feelings for the gem? Jasper has resisted adjusting to Era 3, hiding out in the woods. But she wasn't prepared for the lost girl who would wander into her hideout, and shake her world view.
