In this story, I will write Les Miserables one-shots which are based in my mind on the colors Red and/or Black. They probably won't be long, and I certainly hope that they're good, or decent. My name is Jeanine. My father's name is Javert and he is a top officer of the police here in Paris. He has helped me master the ways of the sword, dagger, and bow. I help him as his righthand girl when he is hunting down "criminals". Then comes my secret life. I'm also a revolutionary along with my friends Enjorlas and Marius. I hate the way the lower class of people are treated nowadays. Enjorlas, Marius, and I all want to end their suffering but to what cost?

The streets of Paris have been filled with unrest for some time when seventeen year old Marie meets Enjolras for the first time while walking the streets with her father Javert. While Marie feels an instant connection with Enjolras her father sees nothing in him but a poor rebel and order her to stay away from him. Marie has always listened to her father but as the tension in Paris rises so does the tension between her and her father. As sparks start to rise will Marie choose Family or Love? Safety or Risk? Gavroche is the one she protects the most because she knows Éponine can handle herself. Fire works for her parents and gets her money that way. She doesnt give the money to her parents but keeps it to herself untill she leaves the inn. She moved out if the inn a while ago and brought Gavroche with her. She shares all her money with Gavroche. Fire meets Gavroche's friends through work but doesnt know it was them untill Gavroche drags her to a meeting being held between the schoolboys about the revoloution.

This is a Les Miserables Meponine Fan fiction. If you're wondering Meponine is the ship name for Marius and Eponine. Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Marius realizes his true love for Eponine and is just friends with Cassette? What about if Eponine didn't die. This is my spin on Les Miserables. I do not own Les Miserables Victor Hugo does. I give all credit to Victor Hugo for creating such an awesome book and all the characters with it!!!!!!!
