After hearing a shocking conversation between his parents one late night, Davey decides he needs to help even more. Going to Medda, begging for a job, he finds himself getting hired for a job that you would never expect...

The "Newsies of Lower Manhattan" are a recently formed band, and vocalist Jack Kelly has become extremely passionate about it, convinced he can maybe finally achieve his dreams of being a real artist and musician. However when his girlfriend and their lead guitarist Katherine breaks up with him and leaves the band, he feels like everything is crushed. That is until at a local club he meets David Jacobs, an awkward (but very hot) guy with a beautiful voice.

Hi! I'm bored as fuck and decided to make a group chat with all the newsies to show off what I think would happen if they were all high schoolers in 2019!

David Jacobs was perfect in every way he needed to be. He had a loving family, a safe home and a future set in stone. All he had to do was keep his grades up and he could get a well paying job and live his life the way he was supposed to. But when he runs into a newsie who introduces himself as Jack Kelly, his life turns upside down. He finds himself having to give up school to get a job, where he discovers that his picture-perfect life may not be as perfect as he thought. Wow look at me actually writing a description instead of gibberish. Anyways this will be hecka gay so if you're scared of that the shoo. Imma mostly focus on fluff with a good amount of angst mixed in there for fun but no smut!! Warning for mentions of homophobia, internalized homophobia, sad bois and maybe other things but nothing too serious. Just a silly lil gay story

Jack Kelly, brother of the leader of The 5 Points gang, Paul Kelly, had been returning late from the Bowery when he heard shouts coming from a nearby alley. He peers around the wall and sees a boy his age getting beaten up. It's clear the boy doesn't know how to fight and blood is oozing and trickling from several parts of his body. He stumbles trying to get away using the wall to guide and support him but the wall betrays the boy as he is slammed against it before being turned to face his attackers. They start to grab and rip at the boy's clothes as he screams for them to stop. And all Jack Kelly could do was watch. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Most of the charcters don't belong to me, they either belong to Disney or theirselves. This story is a gang au so be prepared for anything that that could entail.

I'm on Wattpad way too much without writing anything so this is a filler for random headcannons that I come up with until I find the time to write a real story.
