BEAR IS BACKKKKKKK with a new fanfic and a new fandom NEWSIES! ---- Jack Kelly has to deal with a strike. He also has to deal with his feelings...feelings for someone named David, the only problem is David Jacobs is terrified. He's fallen for someone he shouldn't have-Jack Kelly. And not only that, but he has a sister to care for as well, and Sarah Jacobs recognizes Katherine. Katherine doesn't remember her. And this is an issue because Katherine Pulitzer has started to realize things. She always knew that she and her closest friend, Jack, were alike in many ways. One of these ways, though, is discoverable through the antics of Racetrack Higgins, who has issues. Issues such as Spot, who simply won't leave him alone. Or perhaps it's the other way around...in any case, Spot Conlon has feelings for Race, feelings he wouldn't have known were possible if it weren't for Kid Blink Baletti, who was kissing Mush in a closet. Yeah. In a closet. And Spot found him, which led to Mush Meyers feeling very nervous, because he shouldn't have been kissing Blink-it wasn't legal. This led to Crutchie Morris trying to fix everything between everyone, and everything just being one big, gay mess.

David and Jennifer haven't seen each other since the show "friends" ended. What happens when Jen shows up on David's door step seeking comfort from an old friend?

This is literally just any random oneshot I wrote while thinking of newsies (it will progress very slowly because I hate my writing) (I usually think of the broadway characters when writing)

Your basic modern au Newsies fanfic. Everyone's in high school (besides Les and the adults duh) and things get,, dramatic. There's gonna be angsty stuff, but I'll put trigger warnings if they are in any way needed. (most of the angst is Race because I practically am Race so I end up dumping my vents on him, sorry)

Shawn came back from the field at sundown. Every muscle in my body visibly relaxed at seeing him safe and sound. "WHAT WERE YOU DOING?" I screamed at his silhouette while he ran towards me. He didn't answered and kept running as fast as his small feet could carry him. When he was finally close enough for the moon to shed some light on him, I realised he was holding a Sunflower in his hand and a dirty piece of wood . He got down on one knee and held both objects in front me. "This," he began, holding up the piece of wood, " because you run as fast as a car" "That's supposed to be a car?" I mocked. "Shut up and take the gift" he frowned and threw the piece of wood at me. " okay, thank you" I said with a laugh. Leaning down, I grabbed the "car" and a little clump of dirt. When I got back up, the hand with the sunflower was extended to me. " I know it's your favourite" he mumbled angrily. "It is" I answered, taking his hand and the sunflower in mine. ... Sprace fanfic!! And a little bit of Javid but mainly SPRACE!

This is a text version of the 1992 movie (minus most of the songs because it felt awkward to leave them in) but adapted to include the romantic storyline that my gay newsboys truly deserved. I will update kind of sporadically because I get random inspiration and will write, like six pages in a day, but then I lose all interest for weeks at a time. I take some artistic liberties, but try to stay fairly true to the scripting. Note: the chapters I post on here are not necessarily done being edited, so if you have any tips on things I should fix, feel free to comment and I'll put it into consideration!
