A single decision can change the course of a persons life. Of course Lizz knows this as it's how she came to be in her new life. Lizz is a kind and delicate soul, although damaged by her past, has always wanted to help people and keep them safe Viktor, an ingenious scientist with a deteriorating condition, has been an assistant for many years, until he has the opportunity to be a scientist to a big new project. Both meeting by the choice of a single action. Would you say it was chance or fate that brought them together? Maybe a bit of both? We'll see how Viktor slowly begins to open himself towards someone and Lizz make a true connection with someone after her traumatizing youth through the time they're together A story of fear, compassion, hatred, sadness, joy, and most importantly... Love I love viktors character so much and wanted to create my own story for him alongside my own character, not drifting too far from the original story but still making it a slightly different narrative and plot I don't own any character from arcane besides my own. All I own are my characters and the plot I've written specifically for this story. I really hope you guys enjoy!!

When she would tuck him in bed and drift off as she read him his favorite fantasy novel. Crying whenever she would drop him off at daycare, leaving him like she almost did. You come home to Piltover and your brother, Jayce Talis, after moving away nearly 7 years ago. Shortly after your return home, you are asked to allow your brother's partner, Viktor, live with you after his home is destroyed and awaiting to be rebuilt. (Description will be updated at some point)

He expected screaming or an actual attack, because that would have definitely made it easier for him to shoot. Maybe even some commune members walking right in and disarming him, but none of that came. "Oh Jayce, my dear partner. How I've missed you." ------- Or "what if Jayce folded when he saw Viktor in the commune"?

"The dreams in which I'm dying are the best I've ever had" - Jayce never relates to a quote more than this one. Because he doesn't have to lose Vikto if he goes first. Since the past few weeks, Jayce has been dreaming about Viktor. His friend, his partner, his coworker. Sometimes Viktor is healthy or cured, but sometimes they fight, or he rejects Jayce. The worst of them are when Viktor is dying. Nevertheless, on rare times, his dreams show him what could have been if they were together. If Jayce's feelings were reciprocated. Even if he never confessed his feelings to Viktor. Because of that, he grows frustrated, angry and exhausted. He blames himself for a lot of things (too much really). He feels like a coward and dwells in a dark place in his mind. That is... Until Jayce falls asleep one time and something unusual happens. Then, Viktor can't take seeing Jayce acting weird anymore and confronts him.

Jayce will wake up to the morning fog, so he decides to sit outside in the chill. Viktor finds him like this.

This is a CaitVi/Soulmate AU :) Vi has always been skeptical of superstitions, especially the one about a mark that appears on people's wrists on their 23rd birthday, supposedly linking them to their soulmate. She dismisses it until her own birthday, when she discovers she doesn't have a mark. This leaves her questioning whether she has no soulmate or the freedom to choose one-and a particular girl has caught her attention.
