I decided I don't have the patience to write a full story, so I'll give one shots a try -- haven't written any before, so don't set your expectations too high. Hopefully they'll get better over time. Also, I probably won't post super regularly (I know I never do, but this time I'll tell you that up-front). These are mainly for when I'm bored and frustrated that I can't find a story (that I haven't already read) online.

Jay Gatsby and Daisy Buchanan had a love affair. Daisy was married to Tom Buchanan, but he was in an affair as well, which led her to her affair with the single man known as The Great Gatsby. But sadly, Gatsby never got to live to see what the outcome came to be in the end. This is a new era, a new story to be told. The story of The Great Gatsby Junior.

When Nick and Jordan come over for dinner, a side of Daisy that was never seen is revealed when she follows Tom towards the phone call that awaits. A retelling of the classic novel The Great Gatsby

(SPOILERS. READ THE ORIGINAL BOOK. I PROMISE IT'S WORTH YOUR TIME.) This little snippet takes place after Daisy killed Myrtle and before Wilson kills Gatsby. Just taking a crack at my personal comprehension skills.

Hera, who was named after Greek goddess, had meet Gatsby at one of his parties and they fell in love. She fell in love with how charming and sweet he could be but what will she do when Gatsby is murdered? Nick is the only one who was there for him in her time of need. What will happen? Will she move on?

Listen, we all know Nick and Gatsby are seen by a lot of people (including yours truly) as very homosexual. And anyone that knows me knows that I struggle with bringing myself to write predominantly sad stories. So for now you, dear reader(s?), and I can pretend that Daisy was a little better at driving, Gatsby came to terms with Daisy being out of reach (and with his own sexuality), and instead of us interpreting Nick and Jay as gay for each other, they are very, very explicitly gay for each other as they find when they spend more time together and away from the deceit of people they once thought of more kindly.

Written based on a prompt for school where I had to write myself into an earthquake, and use six of the components of fitness to "save the day". I decided to have some fun with it and write some Great Gatsby fanfiction. (All names are changed for anonymity).Enjoy.
