Nya Murchadh was raised in an orphanage for boys, which suited her just fine. She didn't like playing with dolls, she could hold her own in a fight, and she loved to invent. When she first arrived, navigating the ups and downs of being the only girl wasn't easy, especially with Mr. Miller out to get her, but after a few years, the orphanage becomes a sort of home for her. But after Mr. Miller outlaws inventing for her, she decides she just can't stay. Navigating the streets isn't easy, but maybe an old sensei might hold the key to a new, better life... The story is better than the summary.

Cole didn't freeze in the Oni mist, Lloyd was suspicious, so he decided to test a theory of his while the other ninja were out running errands, Jay is depressed after Nya broke up with him and he remains oblivious to how Cole truly feels about him, which is why Nya left him, and Kai is angry at Jay and blames him for the break up, while poor Zane and Pixal have to be everyone's therapist and work out their own first relationship struggles.
