toby and jack are friends in college, jack is a stoner that wants to have the stereotypical college movie life. toby just wants to get out alive, jack is having none of that bullshit. Tim just wanted to drink his orange juice on the couch, Brian, the crackhead who prolly works at a gas station is also having none of that bullshit. because of that, Tim isn't having any of jays bullshit thanks seth & alex ig this is a crackhead book.

Jay has never had friends because of his weird way of doing things. He always just seemed to weird and awkward for people, and that upset his parents. When they ask a kid named Alex Kralie to be his friend, it doesn't go quite as planned.
