I was inspired by a movie called, "The Girl With All The Gifts" which is a apocalypse themed movie, where a fungus has infected many people making them into zombie like beings called "Hungries" after a few long years of this, places military areas had to be in closed with a fence around it to keep them safe from the Hungries. In this story, There is a Hungrie of the 2nd generation, but older than the children, much more stronger and intelligent. That is number 16 also called Jay, looking much human than the first generation. Then back on the human side of things, there was a human, a soldier infact named Stephen Ng. A very good but violent soldier and some what disobedient, but false information now- Stephen's job was transferred, who is now assigned to number 16 to watch over him and educate him. But what happens when Jay starts to watch over Stephen instead? I'm bad at this shi-- This story isn't for children and if you do not like Gore, I suggest you don't read. I suggest you watch the movie before you read, it'll make more sense. The movie is called "The Girl with all the Gifts" and it should be on Netflix. I do not own this movie nor did I make it, I'm just using the plot to make this story. I do not own the movie or the rights at all. The characters are not mine either.
