A very short story based upon two characters in the original BBC Series 'Ripper Street.' (Specifically around Series 2 when Edmund first meets Jane) It's Christmas and Detective Inspector Edmund Reid is paying his beloved Councillor Jane Cobden a visit. [Originally written 03/04/15]

After Dr Emily Grace and Lillian have their first argument, apologising may seem difficult at first. However when Station House 4 is taken by shock as one of their own goes to prison for murder, things are put into perspective and both realise they need each other when going through tough times.
