-I don't own any of the original characters or their stories of the comics or TV show. I do own Maddie and her story- (this fic is innocent and contains no smut or anything, I purely wrote it because tbh I'm kinda envious of the relationship Lydia/Judith and Negan have, it's like he's their guardian or smthn and it's cute af so I thought I'd give it a go :)) Enjoy! Quiet. That's the best way to describe my life at this moment... Unimaginably and eerily quiet except from of course the gargled slurs and moans of the dead but no actual formation of words. Sometimes I sing, they're only tiny lullabies or dishevelled top hits from before the world now but they are songs all the same. The last time I'd seen survivors must've been over a few months ago, but at the very beginning I found a group. Only small, consisted of a few women a kid, a few other guys and two cops. I left them some time ago, well I didn't leave... I saw something I shouldn't have that's when one of the cops got rid of me... Tried to make it seem like I'd been killed. I hadn't of course, otherwise I wouldn't be sat outside of an old Shell gas station eating a cold tin of beans right now. I miss having company, not the part where you talk but the part where you sit and become grateful for each others presence. That bit was nice. I've been on my own for a long time, I carry what I can and leave what I don't need. Every place I find and scavenge I weigh up the pros and cons of what to take and what not to. I always carry with me a couple of knives, two guns, I don't like to use them though because there's a high chance it'll draw more dead closer to me. Which is what I don't get the dead are dead... Their brains ain't working so how can they hear a gunshot a couple of kilometres away? I don't know. I've thought of a lot of questions but there ain't nobody to answer them. Anyway I'm getting off track, I'm Maddie.

Drifting has been a staple in the car community since the dawn of motorsports.
