Stress piles up, secrets pile higher, and Mike and Will's relationship teeters between friendship, denial, and something neither of them has the courage to name. A single night crosses a line they can't uncross and Will's long-rooted feelings only intensify, especially when Mike's affection only surfaces through the hazes of stolen wine or when he falls apart. Caught between hope and heartbreak, Will can't tell whether Mike truly feels the same... or if it's just his way of numbing the world as it seems to be breaking. (This FanFic takes place in the 18 months before Stranger Things season 5, mentioned in episode 1, season 5) It's been two weeks since Hawkings fell. Will Byers is a shy, introverted, and nerdy boy who loves playing D&D with his friends. He and his family now live with the Wheelers, because their home was destroyed at the same time Hawkins was torn into four. This means Will has to live under the same roof as his crush, aka Mike Wheeler. How will he manage living with his crush without Mike discovering the dangerous truth? Mike Wheeler is oblivious, loyal, and a strong leader. He is happy that Will now lives with him, so they can spend more time together. He would do anything for his friends. Will Mike ever notice the way Will really looks at him, the way he truly feels?

Richie is going to have the best summer in Hawkins ever and nothing is going to stop him. Not the nostalgia of not being with the Losers, not Eddie's girlfriend, not his lame cousin Mike and specially not these weird thoughts that get louder when he's alone. Thank god at least Mike's friends aren't lame, specially a very interesting Wizard.

Kids have been going missing in Derry and Richie's parents deem it too dangerous for their son to stay. Richie gets sent to live with his frog-faced cousin all the way in Hawkins, Indiana. Hawkins, march 1986. After the devastating aftermath of the "earthquake". The small town is placed under a quarantine, with a destroyed house in California, & no home. The Byers are welcomed into the wheelers house. Cramming both families into one damaged house while the tow struggles to rebuild- Privacy disappears fast. - 3 months after the accident A burst pipe floods the bathroom from the basement, leaving everyone on that single family house to share the upstairs bathroom. Mike and Will-Who haven't talked since the Upside down became one with their town-the forced closeness is awkward, tense, and impossible to avoid. As Hawkins government continues to hide the actual truth from this so called earthquake, Mike and will are left to confront their emotional wreckage between them. And just as the town forces its wounds shut with iron... their own start reopening, dragging something long-buried back into the light.
